What a comfortable stay we had at Altmunsterhof! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when our flight was delayed. They made sure we had a key and entry instructions ready. Our garden room was spacious and had a lovely balcony overlooking the lake. The modern bathroom and comfy bed added to our pleasant experience. The reliable wifi was a bonus too. The location was perfect for us, close enough to Gmunden but away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of fresh options to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location, really close to the lake and within walking distance of many good restaurants. The rooms are nicely furnished with modern furniture and some even come with a kitchen. The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning, with the beautiful lake surrounded by the high mountains. The breakfast at this hotel is top-notch, with the nicest eggs I've tasted for a while and proper coffee.

i booked this fabulous hotel for vacation, had a really really nice stay, its location was beautiful in front of the mountain. it was ideally located, very close to sternwarte gmunden.

We had a great experience at this hotel near a picturesque lake. In summer, guests can enjoy the convenience of having the lake right in front of the door. The rooms are well-maintained and newly renovated with daily cleaning and towel replacement. Breakfast was good and the beach was a notable advantage. Although there is no elevator, guests can request lower floors. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi signal can be poor in some areas of the hotel.

Truly enjoyed out star, the hotel is nicely designed and ideally located on the far shore. We booked apartment for 1 night and had a VERY LOVELY stay. It had a comfortable bed and included a big size bathroom a shower, hairdryers, and bath sheets. It offered us convenient location very close to lake, hiking trails, restaurants, the waterfront in Altmuenster and the train station. Highly recommended for one night.
